Jacob Oram struck | NZ won by 146 runs | 1st ODI

In the first ODI between Bangladesh New Zealand of New Zealand Tour of Bangladesh, New Zealand won by 146 runs.

After winning the toss NZ elected to bat first and scored a huge total for Bangladesh in the scoreboard. They Scored 336 runs in 50 overs loosing 9 wickets. Jacob Oram, NZ's all rounder, played a smart innings. He scored 83 runs from just 40 deliveries with 8 fours and 5 sixes in the end of innings. They lost first 2 wickets in just 19 runs. Then debbutent opening batsman Peter John Ingram, who made his maiden half century,and Ross Taylor rebuild the innings. Ingram scored 69 off 74 balls while Ross Taylor scored 51 runs. Neil Broom also played a solid innings. Before run out he scored 71 runs from 73 balls. Among the Bangladeshi bowlers Shafiul Islam was the most successful. He made his career best figure (4/68) while Naeem Islam, Shahadat Hossain, Sakib AL Hasan took 1 wicket each.

Batting second, Bangladeshi openers started well. Opening partnership was broken when the score was 71 runs. Imrul Kayes was out by McKay scoring 33 runs from 29 balls with 2 huge sixes. Another opener Tamim Iqbal scored his 13th ODI fifty, scoring 62 off 69 balls. But then no other batsman took the responsibility again and collapsed their backbone easily. Number seven batsman Mahmudullah scored the 3rd highest 23 runs. NZ captain Daniel Vettori took 3 wickets, while Martin Guptill, Jacob Oram and Andy McKay took 2 wickets each.

The next match will be held on 8th February.

NZ won the T-20 in their fashion

New Zealand won the tour opening only T-20 match against visiting team Bangladesh by 10 wickets easily bt Seddon Park. They achieved small target of 79 runs without loosing any wicket. New Zealand's opening batsman McCullum scored unbeaten 56 runs from just 27 balls. They took only 8.2 overs and won by 10 wickets.

Earlier Bangladesh won the toss and scored a small total of 78 for the loss of all wickets. Their top order batsmen were very irresponsible and through their wickets. Raqibul Hasan was the highest scorer. He scored 18 runs. Among the New Zealand bowlers Vettori was most successful he took 3 wickets spending only 6 runs while N McCullum took 2 for 15 runs.

Bangladesh started their New Zealand tour with very much bad performance today. They will play the next match, 1st ODI of 3 match ODI series, on 5th February.

Ban vs NZ | T-20 | Ban: 78/10

In the only T-20 match between Bangladesh and New Zealand of New Zealand Tour of Bangladesh 2010, Bangladesh were all out in just 78 runs today.

Earlier Bangladeshi Captain Sakib Al Hasan won the toss and elected to bat first. Bangladeshi opening batsman Tamim Iqbal and Mohammad Ashraful had not a good start. And none of the others did take the responsibility. They lost wickets in regular intervals.

Aftab Ahmed, ICL Star of Dhaka Warrior, returned in International Cricket in this match and did not played much. He scored 12 runs off 14 deliveries.

Raqibul Hasan was the highest scorer, number eight batsman, who scored 18 runs from 13 balls with 2 fours and a six.

Pakistan 223/10 in first inn of 3rd Test

After winning the toss Pakistan selected to bat first in the 3rd test match against New Zealand. But New Zealand bowler OBrien made the devastating. He took 4 top order batsman and Pakistan finally manages to get 223 for all out.

Pakistan: 1st inn. 233 (Irman Farhat 117*, Gul 24, Aamer 23, OBrein 4/35, Tuffey 4/52).

Day-1 II 1st Test II Pak vs NZ II NZ 276/6

In the first day of first test match betwen Pakistan and New Zealand, Pakistan won the toss and invited New Zealand bat first. Pakistani opening bowler Mohammad Aamer took the wicket of Tim McIntosh in the very first ball of the day. Another opening bowler Mohammad Asif took the wicket of Daniel Flynn when the scoreboard was in 27! Pakistani pace bowlers gave a good start.

But New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor and Guptill made a good partnership of 117 runs and rebuilt the innings from this stage. Ross Taylor just missed a test century. He scored 94, while Guptill 60 runs.

At the end of the day Daniel Vettori (40*) and Brendon McCullum (25*) was batting. Pakistani bowler Mohammad Asif took 3 wickets for 76 and Mohammad Aamer took 2 wickets for 62 runs.

Pakistan vs New Zealand 3rd ODI in Abu Dhabi

New Zealand won the Cool & Cool Cup 2009 in Abu Dhabi. In the third and final match New Zealand won by 7 runs in Monday.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first and set target of 212 runs for Pakistan. Though Pakistan has a good start, but they lost 9 wickets while the score board is on 101. But the number 10 and number 11 batsman Mohammad Aamer and Sayed Azmal made a partnership of 103 runs and very close to the dramatic victory. Number 10 batsman Mohammad Aamer created history in Abu Dhabi. He scored maiden half-century (73 not out from 81 balls). This is the highest run by number 10 batsman in all One Day International. The previous record belongs to D. Marilliar of Zimbabwe, who scored 56* against India in 2001. The number 11 batsman Azmal scored 33, while the third highest (25 runs) of the innings came from the opener Salman Butt’s bat! New Zealand bowler Jacob Oram was fantastic with his bowling figure (9.1-2-20-3).

Earlier New Zealand were all out in 46.3 overs for 211 runs. Branden McCullum was the highest scorer. He scored 76 runs from 78 balls. Pakistani bowler Azmal took 4 wickets for 33 runs.

3rd ODI PAK vs NZ: NZ-211/10

New Zealand started well with a good opening partnership of 72 runs. McCullam, scored century in last match, scored 76, the highest among the others. Ross Tailor score 44. They faced pace bowlers comfortably while Pakistani spin bowlers done the devastating. Pakistani bowler S. Azmal took 4 wicket for 33 runs. Finally New Zealand managed to score 211 runs for the loss of all wickets in 46.3 overs. Now Pakistan need 212 runs to win the series.

Pak vs NZ: series 1-1: McCullum struck his second hundred

In the second ODI in Abu Dhabi, New Zealand won the match and back to the series 1-1. The third and final match of the series will be held in 9th Nov.

Batting first New Zealand lost their Redmond while the score is 21, but in second wicket McCullum and Guptil scored 126 partnership. McCullum scored 131 while Guptill 62. McCullum played a brilliant innings and scored his second ODI century in his 164th match. Finally New Zealand managed to score 303 in 50 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Among the Pakistani Bowlers Shahid Afridi was most successfull (10-0-49-2).

In reply, Pakistan were all out in 47.2 overs scoring 239 runs. Sulman Butt, highest scorer, manages to score 59 runs before run out. New Zealand Bowler Styris got 3 wickets for 23 runs. Ummer Akmal was not listed for this 2nd ODI.

Now the series is 1-1 between two teams.
