India need 204 runs to win in the 5th day of the 3rd test match against Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka threw a target of 257 runs to India in 4th innings. India lost their opener Virender Shewag, the 1st innings top scorer, without scoring. At the day 4 stump Sachin Tendulkar was batting not out at 11 runs with his partner night watchman Ishant Sharma. They also lost another 2 wicket of Murali Vilay and Rahul Dravid. S Randiv took all 3 wickets. They need 204 runs to win the match with 7 wicket in hand and a full day.
Earlier Sri Lanka scored 425 & 267 runs. And India scored 436 runs in their first innings.
