Both the team India and Sri Lanka won one match each in first two ODIs of the current 5 match series. Today they are playing their 3rd ODI.
Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first and the dashing opener Dilshan, who scored 2 successive centuries in fist two ODIs, started with his own style and before out by Nehra scored 41 runs from just 18 balls! He gave Sri Lanka a flying start again. After first 15 overs Sri Lanka reached 122 runs for the loss of Dilshan. Upul Tharanga is not out on 49 runs and Sangakara is not out on 26 runs.
Today India is missing their captain MS Dhoni and V Sehwag is leading the match.

Virender Sehwag vs Dilshan!
In the first ODI between India and Sri Lanka, India managed to reached their highest ODI score and 5th of the history. It was a great match of 825 runs! With a great innings of Sehwag India scored 414 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Sehwag scored 146 runs from 102 balls. MS Dhoni scored 72runs from 53balls, while Sachin scored 69 runs.
In reply Sri Lanka almost went through the match. They lost by 3 runs. Opener Dilshan scored 160 runs while Shangakara played an tremendous innings of 90 runs from only 43 balls. But at the last over Sri Lanka needed 11 runs with 3wickets in hand and they managed to scored 7runs. And India won the exciting match by 3 runs.

India became the "No.01 Test Team"
Finally Indian cricket team became the "No.01 Test Team" in ICC Ranking with winning the 3rd Test against Sri Lanka today.
B atting first Sri Lankan batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan (109) and Angelo Mathews (99) took the score in almost high in board. They were all out in 393 runs. Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh took 4 wkts. In reply, India scored almost double than Sri Lanka. They scored 26/9 in their only innings. While Sri Lanka scored 309 in their second innings and lost test by an innings and 24 runs.
With winning this test match India won the series in 2-0 also. And they took the top position of Test Ranking from South Africa. Now India is leading the Test Ranking Table with 124 points and South Africa carries 122 points in second position. All India is celebrating for this victory. But Indian captain MS Dhoni thinks, "I think the real tough task from now on is to maintain this performance. The real tough job starts from here."

IND II 642/ II 1st Inn 2nd Test
In the 1st test of Sri Lanka and India, India kept their score in a zenith. They were all out at the scoring 642 runs.
After a flying start Indian Most Exclusive batsman Rahul Dravid scored, his 28th Test Hundred and back to back against Sri Lanka, 144 runs from 226 balls. Two opening batsman Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag made a great 233 runs partnership. Gautam Gambhir scored 167 runs while Virender Sehwag scored 131 runs. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar scored 40 runs while Yuvraj Singh scored 67 runs from 105 runs.
Sri Lankan bowler Rangana Herath took 5 wickets for 121 runs and helped to all out Indian team scoring under 650 runs.

Ind vs SL II Day-1 II IND: 417/2
India : 417/2 (90 ovr.) Gautam Gamvir and Virender Sehwag made a frying start for India in the 1st day of First Test between India vs Sri Lanka. They made a solid opening partnership of 233 runs. Both of them scored a century each. Virender Sehwag scored his 12th test century. He scored 131 from 122 balls while Gautam Gamvir scored 167 from 215 balls. At the end of the day the Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar were batting. Rahul was 85* and Tendulkar 20*.

Result of 1st Test between Ind vs SL
The first test between India and Sri Lank finished in a draw. In the toss Indian captain MS Dhoni elected to bat first and scored 426 for all the loss of all wickets in 104.5 ovrs. Rahul Dravid Scored 177 runs, while Chanaka Welegedara took 4 wickets.
Sri Lanka 202.4 overs before declare their innings. Tillakaratne Dilshan (112) scored his 5th test century in this year, while M Jayawardene played an brilliant inning of 275 runs. And also the junior Jayawardene managed to get his first century outside Sri Lanka scoring 154 notout. They scored 760/7 and took the lead of 334 runs.
In the second innings of India, both opening batsmen started well, they lost their first wicket in 81 runs as Virender Sehwag (51). But the another opener Gautam Gambhir took responsibility in his hand made first century (114) in this series! And also the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar was making keeping his record high and high scoring his 43rd test century and 30,000 international runs! And finally the match finished in a draw with some most exclusive individual records.
The Second Test will be started in Kanpur from Nov 24-28.
