First TIE of World Cup 2011
It was a hard day today in the history of World Cup Cricket 2011. India vs England was the first tied match in the history of World Cup Cricket 2011. After winning the toss Indian captain MS Dhoni elected to bat first. And to prove his decision was not wrong Indian opening batsman gave India a flying start.India lost Shewag earlier but Master Blaster batsman Shachin Tendulkar had written another historic innings of 120 runs with 10 boundaries and 5 over-boundaries. Among others Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Sing scored 51 and 58 runs. And finally India managed to score 338 runs, a huge total!

Bangladesh Beat Ireland
Bangladesh won the important low scoring match against Ireland in Mirpur in their group match of World Cup 2011 by 27 runs. In 2007 Ireland beat Bangladesh so this match was a revenge for the home team. After winning the toss Bangladeshi captain Shakib Al Hasan elected to bat first. Bangladeshi opener Tamin Iqbal and Imrul Kayes gave Bangladesh a flying start. They scored 51 runs in just 6 overs. But Irish bowlers came in the game with taking 4 quick wickets. Bangladeshi middle order batsman Rahim and Rakibul made a 61run partnership to rebuild the innings but again the Irish bowlers took some regular wickets. And finally Bangladesh managed to score 205 runs for the loss of all wickets.
In reply Irish batsman did not have a good start. They were losing wickets in regular intervale. O'brain brother tried to make healthy innings, they scored 38 and 37 each. Among bangladeshi bowlers Shafiul took 4 wickets while Shakib and Ashraful took 2 wickets each. Tamim Iqbal was selected man of the match who scored 44runs from 43 balls, highest scored of the match, and also took a brilliant catch.

Micromax ODI CUP | 4th match abandoned | Ban Vs Zim
The 4th ODI of Micromax ODI CUP between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe has been abandoned due to yesterday's heavy rain in Chittagong. The out-field was not dry enough for a match play. Umpires and officials visited the field at 12.30pm and took the decision of abandon the match without playing a ball.
Bangladesh is now leading the series by 2-1. But this match was very important for the host. If they could win the series by 4-1 there would be a change to jump one step ahead in ICC ODI Ranking. On the other hand Zimbabwe won only the series opening match and lost the other two. They still have one more game in hand to draw the series.

Zim beat Ban by 9 runs in the series opening match
Zimbabwe won the first match against Bangladest in the series opening match. Bangladesh won their last home series against New Zealand by 4-0 and started the morning as favorit but the collapse top-middle order they finally lost by 9 runs.
Earlier Zimbabwan opening batsman made a fifty one run opening partnership. But the spinners of Bangladesh stopped their scoring rate and picked some vital wickets timely. Zimbabwe lost 5 wickets in just 98 runs, the Chakabva and Ervine took the responsibility in their shoulder and reconstruct the innings. Chakabva scored 45 runs while Ervine scored 41 runs. And finally managed to score 209 runs. Among the Bangladeshi bowlers Razzak was most successful, he took 4 wickets.
In reply Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes started well. But after departure of Tamim the top-middle order suddenly collapsed. Shakib Al Hasan, captain of Bangladesh, took responsibility but did not get support from his team mates. He tried till the end but his captain's knock was not sufficient for a victory today. He scored 63 runs while Imrul kayes scored 41 runs. Mpofu took 3 wickets for 25 runs in 9 overs, but 4 run outs were also vital in Bangladeshi innings. And Bangladesh is all out in 49 overs scoring 200 runs.

Ponting wants Lee and Tait back
Ponting wants Lee and Tait back in the World Cup Australian Team. He thinks Lee, Tait and Johnson would be great pace attack combination for the Indian condition.
Lee is out of the Australian team for more than one year due to injury, while Tait is also out of the team since T-20 Champions League. Ponting is also not worried about their absence in the field. He thinks, Lee would be our main key player. Lee played 186 ODI's and took 324 wickets.

NZ won by 200 runs | Tri Series
New Zealand won the first match of Tri-series against India by 200 runs in Dambulla today. This the highest ever victory against India. They booked India in only 88 runs. This is the lowest score for India in this year. Rabinder Jadeja, the highest scores, scored 20 runs while Sewagh scored 19 and Karthik 12. Tuffey, opening bowler of New Zealand, took 3 wickets for 34 runs. Among other bowlers Mills and Oram took 2 wicket each.
Earlier New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first. They loose 3 early wicket in only 28 runs. But Ross Tylor and Styris re-construct the innings with 190 runs. Ross Taylor scored 95 runs and Styris scored of 89 runs. Among the Indian bowlers Nehra took 4 wicket and Pravin Kumar took 3 wickets.
