ICC World T20 | Bangladesh Squad announced | Mashrafe and Ashraful back in the team

There was no surprise and experiment when the national cricket selectors announced a 15 member squad on Tuesday recalling Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and Mohammad Ashraful for the ICC World Twenty 20 in West Indies in April-May this year. And Shakib Al-hasan's captaincy remain unchanged.
Mohammad Ashraful, former skipper, was dropped for the recent home series against England due to poor run of form. The chief selector Rafiqul said, 'we considered Ashraful's experience and he is a potential match-winner with the ability to improvise in limited-overs cricket which makes him an important part of the team in this tournament'. He also added, 'we know that he is struggling with his batting form but we are confident that he will come back strongly'.

Mashrafe, most attacking pace bowler of Bangladesh, was given rest in home series against England due to injury. But now selectors think he is fit for T-20 challenge.

Bangladesh Squad: Shakib Al Hasan (captain), Mushfiqur Rahim (vice-captain), Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Mohammad Ashraful, Aftab Ahmed, Mahmudullah Riyad, Naeem Islam, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Abdur Razzak, Shafiul Islam, Rubel Hossain, Syed Rasel, Sohrawardi Shuvo and Jahirul Islam.
